So glad I took pictures of Lillie without her date. Last night, Lillie learned the meaning of the phrase “Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.”
I have to say: These girls are beautiful on the outside, but they are way more beautiful on the inside. While I have been impressed with their moral fiber, integrity, and friendship- they blew me away last Saturday night. I could not be more proud of them and am grateful that Lillie has such amazing friends!!! You girls ROCK!!!

Oh- yes, Lillie is wearing a leg brace. She tore her ACL, tore her meniscus, and has two compaction fractures from a tennis match. We matched her dress to her brace and decked out her crutches in homecoming style! (The really cool mustache pic is compliments of Keri Fales Photography.)

Between my illness and my computer’s virus- I am behind on posting. I will start with catching up with Easter pics and add what we have done between then and now, later.
Easter weekend, when the girls and I read some Bible stories on Jesus, Grace asked, “How come Jesus didn’t heal His scars all the way, you know, so you couldn’t see them anymore.” (Grace is always digging deep with questions- can’t wait for the “sex” talk!) I told her that Jesus wanted his disciples to see them so they would know it was Him, and so we would remember the sacrifice He made in order for us to be forgiven and adopted into His family.
I have been working vitamin E oil into my knee scar and using silicone strips to help minimum my scar- I really want it to disappear! I am so glad Jesus left His scars for us to see!
John 20:19 Jesus Appears to His Disciples
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
John 20: 27 Jesus and Thomas
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

The three girls gave Austin quite a workout in basketball. Check out the sweat down the back of Austin’s shirt- he could barely keep up with them and ot his tail whooped.

I know this is not the best quality picture in the world- it was taken by Austin and with his cell phone. The huge mound is close to our church, right off the highway. Some really clever friends of ours put it up several days ago- and it was still there this Easter morning. I have no idea how they hefted that cross up such a huge hill- the picture does not do it justice, as to how big it is.
And I have no idea how Jesus carried the cross to the place of His crucifixion- Thank-you Jesus.

And when you are so sleep deprived, that, if you were a chicken with it’s head cut off and you couldn’t run around- you might as well Stop, Drop, and Connect Four.

When life is crazy, and you are running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off, sometimes you just have to Stop, Drop, and UNO!

Ok, they already bloomed and are pretty much done with, but I am finally posting about it!

Grandpa is always willing to spare a few of his 60,000 – 70,000 thousand Daffodils for cute little Asian Princesses!

Seriously- the best way to tour the Daffie’s are in Grandpa’s ATV!

What’s prettier than 60,000 -70,000 daffodils? One LILLIE. She did an awesome job with announcing winners of this years eMagine competition.

What’s just a pretty as a LILLIE? One Anna ROSE. However, the goose-egg on her forehead, from crashing into a curb while riding her bike, looks quite nasty! This was her first meeting with the curb- I did not take a picture of today’s meeting with the curb… Yes she wears a helment- I am the “Safety Queen”!

Young LOVE is also pretty cute! They said goodbye again- but he’ll be home for summer soon. Wedding plans are moving along!

Best thing about big brothers- are that they play Wii with you!

Got to go on Fay Fay’s field trip this week! So stinkin’ cute! We celebrated Faith’s 4th Gotcha Day Anniversary the other weekend. God blessed us beyond what we ever could have imagined with her adoption! I will have a Gotcha Day video soon- I am running behind, which is the story of my life right now. But I love it, and wouldn’t have it any other way!

Mom needed a vacation desperately…

and because Dad loved Mom SO much, he obliged, and took us to Big Cedar. (The rock David is holding is in the shape of a heart)

It was a fabulous trip! And in no particular order, we had fun.

And Mom got some much needed R & R

We celebrated Grace’s 7th Birthday! I sometimes wonder if her birth parents think of her on her Birthday- or if it is just another day in the year for them…

We also celebrated David’s Birthday! I won’t tell how old he is… but it was a good one!

Had lunch with Arthur’s pretty lady.

We have loved the little bit of good weather and took advantage of it with some time outdoors.

But I ran across this pic from one of our last snows.

A pic of my fabulous physical therapist- she is the best!!!! Don’t I look really thin and trim next to her pregnant belly!!!

And we said goodbye to some good friends.
